It is within this framework that we came to seize the authority in order to facilitate the task for this partner, so that he arrives on the ground, to make an inventory and to report to whom it may concern and to see to what extent sign a contract with the partner before the actual exploitation of the gold.“, did he declare.
According to the Director General of SOKIMO, this Turkish partner which not only exploits gold but also specializes in electricity will follow in the footsteps of the mining giant Kibali to also facilitate the task for the province to find itself.
He also reassured the population of Haut-Uélé on the sincerity of the company SIDIA, partner of Kilo-Moto, which from its establishment in the province, will reduce unemployment, because the local population will be privileged.
Note that the union bench of SOKIMO will also be associated so that things are done in accordance with the respect of the law of the country.
Since 1903, the Société Minière de Kilo-Moto has been involved in the exploration and exploitation of mineral deposits, the processing of substances from these deposits, and the sale of these deposits both in their raw state and after processing.
Despite the difficulties encountered which led to the cessation of production, the management of SOKIMO has set itself the objective of putting the company back in the orbit of the mining operators and thus improving the social conditions of the workers.
